WA Vacation: Riverfront Park

Gracie in line for Spokane's original Looff Carrousel.
I used to ride this as a kid all the time with Amy.

Gracie pullin a weird face on her Looff pony.
She thought this was the prettiest pony there,
she was not at all concerned about getting the rings as the carrousel goes round.
(I could not find a picture featuring the ring grabber.
If you'd like further "ring grabber" information, ask in the comments section.)

Gracie wandering across the river from the famous Riverfront Park tent.

Some bagpipers keeping the crowd equal parts entertained slash annoyed.

Gracie sportin the flower hat a creepy balloon making guy gave her.
He was wearing a lime green and black checkered get up, for cryin out loud.

All this action occurred on the actual 4th of July,
hence the many festivities and activities.
Gracie and I drove from the family reunion in Gifford park
to allow Gracie to relive some of my old memories.
We drove to Puyallup that night but my aunt was not expecting me so
Gracie and I stayed in a hotel that night.
It was a most lovely and enjoyable treat.

The next day was half kickin back,
More on that later . . .
